After returning from Tanzania I launched Miller Acoustics as a way to turn my passion for instrument building and repair into my occupation.
So far, it’s been quite an adventure. I discovered that getting a guitar playable can bring together a father and daughter. I experienced the excitement of a son and father playing their grandfather’s 50 year old Martin D18 for the first time in years.

And I helped a customer take a kit-built ukulele from “it looks nice” to “hey this thing can really play!”

Meanwhile, I’m finishing up a tenor uke for a water walker in Minnesota, a requinto for a musician in Seattle, and a custom dreadnought for someone in Rwanda.
Keep tuned…there are lots more adventures to come!
